AD 452 Graphic Design II
Course Description:
Multifaceted problems with an emphasis on continuity of design in more than one medium or format. Client-based projects, environmental
graphics and identity issues in design. Professional proposals and portfolio preparation. Partially satisfies CoLA writing-across-the-curriculum
requirement.
Course Outline:
• Studio based projects will be set to cover the refinement of the process of design through visual and interactive exploration of the characteristics
and structure of various types of projects and experiences.
• Project development will include a large amount creative problem solving through brainstorming, research, and group interaction.
• Projects may include, but are not limited to, the problem solving through the creation of fundamental studies, narratives, corporate and
commercial identities, environmental graphics, exhibitions, interactive applications, web sites, CD-ROMs and associated products using
both physical and electronic environments.
